On the third day we will move from Barkot towards Gangotri, we do not reach Gangotri directly.  We have to go first.  We have to stay there in Uttarkashi.  There is a place to roam at the sightseeing place, 90 km from Barkot to Uttarkashi.Barkot Uttarkashi is 90 to 100 kilometers away.  It will take us 3 to 4 hours to cover this distance and we have to stop here.Here, we get a room in the hotel from ₹ 800 to ₹ 15 so and here we get a plate of food from ₹ 80 to ₹ 150 and there are many places to visit here.  The first place is Kashi Vishwanath temple and the second one here is a dam and there are many ancient caves here, where you can go and visit.

On the fourth day, you catch a bus from here and reach Gangotri.  The distance of Gangotri is 100 kilometers from Uttarkashi.  It will take 2 to 3 hours to cover this distance.  You have reached Gangotri.  Visit the temple of Gangotri Mata here and see Gaurikund and Surya Kund here.  If you want to take a bath here then you can.  If you want to go to Gomukh from where The Ganges originates from here.  It is located at a distance of 16 km from Gangotri.  Here you will have to climb the hill on foot.  Before going there, you have to take permission from the forest department and if your health is good, you can still go, otherwise you cannot go.

On the fifth day you have known Sonprayag That is, to see Kedarnath towards  and the distance of Sonprayag from Uttarkashi It is 220 kilometers.  It takes 10 to 11 hours to cover this distance.  By the time you reach Sonprayag, it will be evening and you will be very tired.  You stay there, there will be no problem of eating and drinking.  You will find hotels very much in Sonprayag

6 days You have to get up, take a bath and start the journey towards the darshan of the God of Gods.  This journey is on the climb.  This climb journey will start from Gaurikund The journey from Sonprayag to Gaurikund is 5 kilometers.  You can cover this distance by car and jeep.

The trek begins from Gaurikund and continues to the Kedarnath temple.  One has to trek 16 kilometers to reach the temple.  You can trek 16 kilometers with horse mule or pithu .  By the evening of the sixth day, you can see Mahadev.

If you do not have your own equipment on the eighth day, then you will get a direct bus from Sonprayag to Badrinath The distance from Sonprayag to Badrinath is 220 kilometers You will not have to do any kind of trekking in Badrinath as the bus will drop you at the Badrinath bus stand.

At the same time, you will find many private hotels and together with the guest house of GMVN.Here you get full facility to eat and drink.

You will be very tired and it will be evening.  On the ninth day you get up and take a bath and see Badrinath Shri Vishnu.Walk around the place and feel the scenery there.

On the tenth day you have to return to Haridwar, I believe.  You went directly to Haridwar.  You will be very tired.  Stay in Rudraprayag and go to Haridwar for 11 days.
